Thank you for going to the trouble to sign all those books everywhere you go. My girls cherish those personalized copies. When they read those books, they feel like you are talking just to them!
wow, never thought of it from that perspective..thanks Grace!!I cherish my signed copies..one of my friend's purchased a signed copy of Where the Mountain meets the Moon for an Adoption Day present for her 8 year old, I know that too will be a cherished present..
Grace! You were a true champ and the quintessential visiting author/illustrator that day. You've effectively ruined us for all future guests! Even though I'm back in FL right now, word on the street is that they're STILL talking about your visit last Thursday. Your presentations were wonderful and you knew just what each group of kids needed. On top of that you were lots of fun and ever so gracious. Thanks again for a wonderful visit. Best of luck to you this new year! ~Angie, BFS Librarian
aww, thanks everyone! Honestly, I am always thrilled to sign copies and NEVER mind it, I just thought it would be fun to show the effect cupcakes have on me...Angie, it was so great visiting your school and seeing you. Thank you (and Kathy!) so much for your kind hospitality. My best wishes to you during your time in Florida and I look forward to seeing you up here in the cold north soon!
Ugh, holy hand cramp Grace! I'm glad you were given some sustenance to get you through the last hundred!! Cupcakes have that effect on me too (as do brownies, chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cups ... :) )
