First, I was happy just because I got to wear my new flower hair accessory (for some reason, I have become enamoured with the romance of wearing flowers in my hair). But the turn-out was fantastic and I was soon more than thrilled. It was a delight to see so many kids there, many students whose schools I had visits. One even came all dressed up.
And the new book sold out!
I hope that is a good sign for the official release of the book!

Yay!! The flower thing is definitely romantic and Dorothy Lamourish. What next? A sarong? :) Glad the test launch went so well.
Thank you for coming to San Antonio. My daughter finished her copy the next day, reading almost non-stop. When she finished, she closed the book and announced, "That's the best Grace Lin book ever!"
Yes, It is very Lamourish, isn't it? I think I may do every booksigning with a flower. Doesn't really match the them of my book, but who cares?
