on my desk monday
I know it's summer because our local farmer's market has opened again. The Sasquatch, perhaps out of habit, brought home these gorgeous lilies. In the light they are the color of the moon and remind me last summer when I was struggling with the rough draft of Starry River of the Sky.
Maybe these will inspire a new story. I hope so!

I was just doing some research on Where the Mountain Meets the Moon and discovered your website and blog- delightful! I host a monthly Read Aloud book club through my own blog where families all read the same book aloud to their children and then share their thoughts etc. with one another. Where the Mountain Meets the Moon is our book for July. As soon as I read it, I knew I had to share it. It is really and incredible and beautifully written book- I can't remember the last time I read something that I loved so much and my eight year old feels the same way!
