morning announcements

When I was in elementary school, morning announcements were done over a crackling PA system--the most exciting part being the unexpected screech of some sort of microphone mishap. So it was a bit of a revelation to me during my school visits in Frisco that morning announcements are now more like closed television broadcasts--each classroom with their own TV or projector. One of the school asked if I would take part in their morning announcements, in a mini interview:

(If you can't see the above movie, go here).

I know I should have looked at the camera more, but it was the first time I have ever been interviewed by a puppet. I couldn't take my eyes off of it!

wow i've been reading your blog just now, you seem so busy! well, i did wish you could have been to Tokyo 2 weeks ago! i think you would have been really inspired by a lot of things in japan and the wedding venue itself as well. I think it was almost the main character of the event. LOL! anyways, if you ever have the time/vacation/money and want to come to Japan, let me know. I know some cheap hostels/hotels and i can show you around for FREE! ;D
